Amcrest Configuration

We strongly recommend to look for firmware updates for your Amcrest camera. Keeping your firmware up-to-date ensures that the camera has the latest patches and fixes which will keep it working well.
For mobile set up make sure that your camera is factory defaulted.
Mobile Set Up
- Log in on the Camcommand mobile app (refer to the Mobile App instructions of the article on How to Add a Camera).
- Choose Amcrest and give your camera a name and click the Next button.
- Scan the QR code to automatically pull the camera token or enter manually and press the Next button.
Once the camera is detected hit the Ok button. - Enter your desired password and press the Next button.
Note that this method will change the camera's password.
- A successful setup will take you to this page. You may choose to set the camera wifi or skip this process.
- Choose your desired configuration or leave default settings and press the Finish button.
Your Amcrest camera will now appear in the list of your cameras.
Web browser set up.
For the web browser set up make sure you set up the camera password before adding the camera.
- Login to your desired portal. (refer to the How to Add a Camera article)
- Choose Amcrest Camera and enter the camera name then click the Next button.
- Input the Username, Password, and the camera Serial Number and then click the Next button.
- Choose your desired configuration such as whether or not you'd like notifications, Image Appearance, Quality and IR Mode (optional) and then press the Finish button.
Your Amcrest camera will now appear in your list of cameras.
