Important note:  We strongly recommend to look for firmware updates for your Amcrest camera. Keeping your firmware up-to-date ensures that the camera has the latest patches and fixes which will keep it working well.

For mobile set up make sure that your camera is factory defaulted. 

Mobile Set Up.
  • log in to the Camcommand mobile app. (refer to this link https://skyswitch.elevio.help/en/articles/514-how-to-add-a-camera#MobAPP
  • Choose Amcrest and give your camera a name and hit "Next".
  • Scan the QR code to automatically pull the camera token or enter manually and press "Next".

    Once the camera is detected hit "OK".
  • Enter your desired password.
    Note that this method will change the camera's password.
  • A successful set up will take you to this page. You may choose to set the camera wifi or skip this process.
  • Choose your desired configuration or leave default settings and press "Finish".

Your Amcrest camera will now appear in the list of your cameras.

Web browser set up. 

For the web browser set up make sure you set up the camera password before adding the camera.

  • login to your desired portal. (refer to this link -https://skyswitch.elevio.help/en/articles/514-how-to-add-a-camera)
  • Choose Axis Camera and enter the camera name and the serial number of your camera. Click "Next".
  • Input Username and Password and click "Next."
  • Choose your desired configuration or leave default settings and press "Finish".

Your Amcrest camera will now appear in your list of cameras.
