My Polycom is experiencing general slowness and a delay when inputting dialing digits, how do I fix this?

These symptoms are most likely occurring due to two possible scenarios. One possibility is that the Presence Feature is being enabled on end-of-life VVX phones within a large domain. When this occurs, the phone will strain to process a large number of SUBSCRIBE messages and their subsequent NOTIFY messages as well.
To address this issue for an end-of-life VVX within a large domain, try the following:
- Disable Presence by adding the following domain override:
feature.presence.enabled="0" - Alternatively, you can reduce the size of the directory to a smaller subset of users under Button Builder.

Another possibility is that these symptoms could be occurring due to faulty or outdated firmware. In these cases, the issue can be resolved by upgrading the firmware to the most recent version.
