All dashmanager users are now being required to add an SMS number to their profile with the input dialog appearing after logging in if they have not yet entered one.  If you have entered one previously and wish to update/change it, you may read how by skipping ahead to Update SMS Number in the Profile.

Add SMS Number to Profile

When you have not set an SMS number for your profile, you will be asked to enter one upon logging in to the dashmanager.  Follow the instructions below to do this. If you do not want to enter one for the moment you can click on Skip for now at the bottom of the dialog.

  1. Enter a valid US number.

  2. Select the Carrier for the number.

  3. Click the Submit button. 

  4. A verification code will be sent to the number entered which you will have to enter in the SMS Verification Code input box.
    Note: You have to wait for 5 minutes to request another code.

  5. Click the Verify button.

Update SMS Number in the Profile

  1. Login to your Dashmanager. 

  2. Go to your avatar and click Profile in the drop-down menu

  3. In the Overview tab, click on Update to update or enter your SMS.

  4. Enter your new number.

  5. Select the Carrier for the number.

  6. Click the Submit button. 

  7. A verification code will be sent to the number entered which you will have to enter in the SMS Verification Code input box.
    Note: You have to wait for 5 minutes to request another code.

  1. Click the Verify button.

Users do not have an option to remove the number from the profile except thru changing it. If there is a need for you to do so please contact SkySwitch Support to have the number removed.
