Support for TCP and non-standard ports is not covered by the SkySwitch SLA. This resource is offered for testing purposes only and may be removed or changed without notice.

Occassionaly ISPs attempt to block SIP traffic by interfering with UDP packets destined for port 5060 (the standard SIP port). This can sometimes be overcome by using TCP and a non-standard SIP port.

We have made an SBC available for use in these cases. To utilize it, change the Outbound Proxy setting in your SIP device as follows.

Protocol: TCP
Port: 8100
Outbound Proxy:
karoo-sbc.whitelabelvoip.net

Note:

This SBC will only work for SIP devices that register and use domains that follow the standard SkySwitch domain format (eg. company.xxxxx.service where 'xxxxx' is your Reseller ID)
