Concept: Entitlements are used to enable and disable certain features for your ReachUC Mobility users. As of Feb. 2018 the Entitlements module is being used for ReachUC licensing. In the future, additional Offerings will be controlled by this module as well.

The Entitlements module can be accessed from the User menu in your Reseller dashboard.

Each feature or service that is controlled by the Entitlements module is called an Offering. ReachUC is one such Offering. Additional Offerings will be introduced in the future.

Under the Entitlements module, you can select the Offering to show and you can narrow it down by choosing a specific Domain. There are two tabs shown in the module.

Overrides Only - shows users that have overrides and will not follow the domain default entitlement.

Show All - shows entitlements for all users in the domain. The Entitlement column will show the effective entitlement of each user. The Action column will show (Inherited) if the user follows the domain default entitlement . Those not following the default will show a Delete Override button. When this button is clicked the user will be reverted to the domain default value.

Set Default Entitlements for a Specific Offering and Domain.

In the Overrides Only tab, you can choose any domain and set the domain default Entitlement for a specific Offering by choosing one in the Default Offering Value drop-down menu.

When you set a domain default, all users within the domain will be assigned this Entitlement unless an override has been created for a specific User.

Set the Entitlement of an Offering for a Specific User

You can override the default Entitlement setting for a Domain by creating an entry for a specific User.

This override will remain regardless of any future changes to domain defaults.

  • After choosing a Domain and an Offering, click the "Add Entitlement" button

  • In the resulting modal box, choose the User and Entitlement override as desired. The image below shows the available Override values for the ReachUC Offering.

Entitlements override can also be done in the Show All tab by finding the specific user and choosing in the drop-down menu the Entitlement to be applied to the user.

Download List of Users and their Entitlements

You can download a list of all users in the domain and the entitlements for the offering by clicking the Download As CSV button in the Show All tab.

How Long Does it Take For Entitlements to Take Effect?

The changes occur right away, but it requires a log-out and log-in by the end user from the relevant application if they are already logged in. For example, if the ReachUC entitlement is changed from Standard to Plus, the Plus features will take effect when the user logs out and logs in again on the ReachUC application.
