Sample Obihai Configuration
Obihai ATAs are provisioned via the OBiTALK zero touch provisioning portal. Obihai devices are not supported by the SkySwitch provisioning server.
To get access to the Obitalk portal please register as an Obihai partner:
This will give you access to the OBiTALK Device Management Platform portal. https://www1.obitalk.com/obinet/pg/itspportal/
To order NFR gear, use this form: http://www.obihai.com/partner/eap
To work with SkySwitch, Obihai vs devices MUST be running firmware version 188.8.131.5244 or higher.
Configuration of Web Centrex PBX Portal
Create and Save a new SIP Trunk with the following parameters:
|Name||Enter the Domain here. Eg. acme.15611.service (this must match the Domain parameter)|
|Domain||Choose the Domain from the smart selector. Eg. acme.15611.service (this must match the Name parameter)|
|Description||Enter any description here|
|Relay Media||Choose Yes|
|Trunk Type||Choose whether the trunk should be 'Inbound', 'Outbound' or 'Bidirectional'|
|IP Control||Choose 'Require Registration'|
|SIP User||Enter a SIP Username here. This can be any alpha-numeric string.|
|SIP Domain||No entry is required. The system will auto-populate this with the Domain selected above.|
|SIP Password||No entry is required. The system will auto-populate this with a randomly generated password|
Configuration of OBiTALK Provisioning Server
Login to the OBiTALK portal. Under the 'Service Provider' menu link, enter the following values in one of the ITSP Profiles (eg. ITSP Profile A)
|Proxy Server||Enter the Domain name here. Eg. acme.15611.service|
|Registrar Server||Enter the Domain name here. Eg. acme.15611.service|
|Outbound Proxy||Enter '[resellerid].hpbx.outboundproxy.com'|
Be sure to disable the checkbox labeled X_DiscoverPublicAddress. This parameter is enabled by default. Failure to disable this parameter will break the Web Centrex NAT traversal mechanism because it will try to auto-detect the WAN IP address and use that in communication with the server.
Under the 'Voice Service' menu link, enter the SIP Credentials that you created in the PBX Portal into one of the SP pages (eg. SP1 Service).
|Auth Username||Enter the SIP Username that you chose in the PBX Portal (see above)|
|Auth Password||Enter the SIP Password from the PBX Portal (see above)|
|URI||Enter the combination of the SIP Username chosen above, and Domain separated with an "@". Eg. email@example.com|
If you are setting up your Obihai as an ATA (FXS) device, you can stop here.
