SkySwitch Onboarding involves two training tracks which are part online through SkySwitch University and part web conference.  The first training track involves complete training on the SkySwitch Platform.  The second training track involves complete training on SkySwitch Billing Services.  Please see the training agendas below for each of these training tracks.

SkySwitch Platform Training

Session 1 - Online SkySwitch University Course –  (A001) SkySwitch Reseller Essentials

The SkySwitch Reseller Essentials Course is designed to provide the Reseller with a full understanding of the essential knowledge and practices that will be needed to operate effectively as a SkySwitch White Label Reseller.

  • Branding the PBX Manager Portal

  • How to submit a Call Trace
  • Managing E911 Services

Session 2 - Online SkySwitch University Course – (A002) Setting up your first Customer

The SkySwitch Setting up your first Customer Web Conference Course is designed to provide the Reseller with a full understanding of all the necessary tasks to setup their first customer.

Course Units:

  • How to add a Domain
  • How to add a User
  • DID Portal Overview 
  • Managing E911 Services
  • How to Spoof Outbound Caller ID
  • How to setup a Ring Group
  • Managing Timeframes and Answering Rules
  • How to setup an Auto Attendant
  • How to Register Phones


Session 3 – Live Web Conference Course – Advanced Configuration and Provisioning

The SkySwitch Advanced Configuration and Provisioning Course is designed to provide the Reseller with a full understanding of all the Advanced Configuration and Provisioning features and tools available and to program and utilize these effectively as a SkySwitch White Label Reseller.

(3 hours)

Course Units:

  • How to manage the Provisioning Server (Overrides, Directory, Importing Devices, etc.)
  • How to setup Call Parking, Shared Line Appearance, etc.
  • How to setup SIP Trunks
  • How to setup and manage SimpleWAN Monitoring
  • VoIP QoS Troubleshooting


Session 4 – Live Web Conference Course – Call Center, Conference and Quotes

The SkySwitch Call Center, Conference and Quotes Course is designed to provide the Reseller with a full understanding of the Audio and Web Conference features, the Call Center features and functionality and the Quote Tool to configure and manage these as a SkySwitch White Label Reseller.

  • How to setup an Audio Conference Bridge
  • How to enable Web Conferencing for a Domain
  • How to setup Call Center Operation
  • How to manage Quotes


SkySwitch Billing Services Training

Session 1 – Online SkySwitch University Course  – Billing Services Essentials

The SkySwitch Billing Services Essentials Course is designed to provide the Reseller with a full understanding of the essential knowledge and practices that will be needed to operate and manage SkySwitch Billing Services in order to bill and accept payments from their customers.

(3 hours)

Course Units:

  • Product Catalog creation and Taxes
  • How to setup a customer for billing
  • How to generate statements


Session 2 – Web Conference Course – Billing Services Management and Automation

The SkySwitch Billing Services Management and Automation Course is designed to provide the Reseller with a full understanding of managing the monthly billing services tasks and to understand the setup of full automation.
